About Patio & Shed Kits WA
Patio & Shed Kits WA is a family-owned, factory-direct manufacturer of engineered patio and shed kits based in Bellevue WA. The business has been family owned and operated since 1999 and is an HIA Award Winning company supplying DIY kits across Western Australia.
Our factory is at 3 Oliver Street, Bellevue WA 6056. You are welcome to visit in person to see the products, check the steel quality and talk through your project with the team that makes the kits. Call us on 1800 942 932 to arrange a visit.
Factory direct means you buy straight from the WA manufacturer that engineers and makes your kit — with no reseller or middleman markup. You deal directly with the people who design, cut and support your patio or shed, which means better value and better advice.
We have been family owned and operated since 1999 — more than 25 years serving Western Australia. What started as a custom wrought iron workshop in Bellevue WA grew into one of WA's trusted patio and shed manufacturers.
Patio Questions
We supply flat roof, gable, Dutch gable, hip end, dome, raised (flyover) and insulated patios, plus custom designs. Available materials and project documentation depend on the selected configuration and site. Not sure which suits your home? Compare them on our patio styles guide or preview them with Design It On My House.
A flat (skillion) roof patio is the most cost-effective and suits modern homes attaching under the eaves. A gable patio has a high peaked roof with better airflow and a premium look for larger entertaining areas. See our Flat vs Gable comparison for a full breakdown.
A raised (flyover) patio sits above your existing roofline rather than under the eaves, keeping your windows and natural light clear and improving airflow. It is a popular choice for double-storey and high-set WA homes. Compare it with a flat roof patio in our Raised vs Flat guide.
Yes. Our Design It On My House tool lets you preview a patio on a photo of your own home before you buy, so you can compare styles and colours on your actual facade. It is the easiest way to picture the finished result.
Shed Questions
We supply garage sheds, workshop sheds, farm sheds, machinery sheds, commercial sheds and custom steel buildings. Engineering and documentation depend on the shed configuration and project site.
A Z purlin is a cold-formed steel member commonly used as secondary framing. Roof purlins support roof cladding between the main frames; similar sections used on walls are commonly called girts. The sizes, spacing and connections are set by the project design.
Engineering depends on the shed configuration and project site. Where provided, the plans identify the applicable wind and terrain design basis and may support an approval application. Our Wind Regions WA guide explains how wind region can affect the steel and bracing in a shed.
Pricing & Payment
Pricing depends on your size, height, style, wind region, doors, windows, insulation, upgrades and delivery location, so there is no single figure. The fastest way to get an accurate, site-specific estimate is our instant patio calculator or shed calculator — no personal details required to see a price.
A DIY kit lets you avoid an included installation charge by doing the work yourself or arranging your own trades. Savings vary with the project, supplier inclusions, labour, delivery and other costs, so compare written quotes on the same scope. Engineering documentation depends on the kit configuration and site.
No. We believe you should be able to see pricing without handing over your personal information. Use our online calculators for an instant indicative price, then contact us only when you are ready for a tailored quote.
Finance options can help spread the cost of your project. See our patio finance page for details, or call our team on 1800 942 932 to discuss what is available for your build.
Engineering & Approvals
Engineering and documentation depend on the kit configuration and project site. Where provided, the plans identify the applicable wind and terrain design basis and may support an approval application.
It depends on your project and location. Building and planning requirements vary by local government area and by the size, height and use of the structure. Always confirm with your local government or a registered building surveyor. Our patio approval and shed permit guides explain the general process.
A wind region is a geographic classification used as one input when establishing wind design actions. It is considered with terrain and other site and building information; it does not by itself specify steel, footing or bracing details. Our Wind Regions WA guide explains the general terminology.
Delivery, DIY & Support
Yes. We deliver patio and shed kits across Western Australia, from the Perth metro area to regional WA. Delivery cost depends on your location and is factored into your quote.
Our kits are intended for DIY assembly, but suitability for self-installation depends on the project, your skills and any licensing, safety or approval requirements. The quote and project documents identify the supplied components, instructions and any engineering documentation. If you are unsure, use appropriately qualified trades or seek professional advice.
Because you buy direct from the WA factory, our team can help over the phone and provide install support throughout your build. We also run free installation workshops so you can learn to build with confidence before you start.
You can buy the kit factory direct and arrange your own appropriately qualified tradesperson. Installation availability, scope and cost should be confirmed directly with the tradesperson. Call us on 1800 942 932 to discuss kit supply options.
